Aida Youth Centre (AYC) is embarking on a powerful new project: the creation of a mural that symbolises Hope and Freedom.
This will be a collaborative effort, bringing together local artists and community members—young and old—to share their stories, visions, and creative expressions. Situated in Aida Camp, Bethlehem, the mural will stand as a vibrant testament to resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
In 2022, we helped fund the opening of AYC's Art Facility. As a proud partner, HYPEPEACE is deepening its support for AYC by raising funds for this meaningful initiative. Through a series of workshops and the sale of original artworks by local artists-in-residence and emerging young creatives from the camp, we aim to help bring this vision to life. In a region marked by the devastating realities of ongoing violence, perpetuated by occupation, the mural will serve as a lasting symbol—a message of defiance, solidarity, and the enduring human spirit.
We will raise funds through the sale of our products and the creative workshops we host to bring this project to life.
